Frequently Asked Questions
How much will a website cost me?
A website can range from a single page of text to a huge dynamic database with automated content generation and thousands of pages - obviously these will vary in cost massively. Here is a rough guide to the kinds of prices you can expect to pay for quality web design:
- Small business websites - starting from £2,000
- Ecommerce store - starting from £4,000
- Enterprise website - starting from £10,000
How long will the website take to build?
Again, this is heavily dependent on how complex the website is. However, for a straightforward business or ecommerce website, four to eight weeks is a realistic time frame.
Will my website look like anybody else's?
Nope. We don't use templates - all our designs are unique.
Will I be able to update my website myself?
Yes. We provide a point and click content management system that is a doddle to use - even for technophobes. Ask us for a demonstration and see for yourself how easy it is.
Can you provide me with an email address?
Yes, multiple email addresses come as standard as part of our service.
What's a domain name?
A domain name is the address of your website, e.g. www.leedsweb-design.co.uk. You need one for your website to live at - but we take care of registering and configuring this for you. We can even give advice on what domain name will have the most positive effect on the website's performance.
What happens after my website goes live?
Once the website is live, it needs to live somewhere, and we've invested in top quality dedicated servers to ensure the best search engine performance and reliability with minimum downtime. We also provide ongoing support, maintenance and fine tuning service for a low monthly cost.
